Aurel Schmidt

Aurel Schmidt has mounted solo exhibitions at Deitch Projects (New York), Peres Projects (Los Angeles), and The Fireplace Project (East Hampton), and organized pop-up shows throughout New York City. Schmidt was included in the 2010 Whitney Biennial as well as group shows at Andrea Rosen (New York), Marianne Boesky (New York), Marlborough Chelsea (New York), Saatchi Gallery (London), 247365 (New York), and Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien (Vienna). She has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Vogue, The New Yorker, The Los Angeles Times, Interview, Paper, T Magazine, and Forbes Magazine. Aurel Schmidt was born in 1982 in British Columbia. She currently lives and works in New York City.
